Susan Boyle inspired me to be the next Susan Boyle.
I dreamed a dream
Back to the year 2009, I was so inspired me so much from Susan Boyle'e BGT. At the same time I was went through hell that year. My late beloved mother passed away on July 13th, 2009. I always wanted to be singer since I was 14 years old. Both of my beloved late parents sang well included few of my relatives were singers. I learned singing mostly on my own and later I did join some choir groups. Right after my late beloved dad passed away on July 1st, 2011, died from heart broken, I decided will go after my heart felt dream. I began work on my singing skill seriously, aiming to be next Susan Boyle. My first BGT audition (BGT 2013) was held in Manchester city. It was in month of December 2012 which I failed to get to stage 2. My voices strike with tremendous fears and went total kaput in front of some producers. I was greatly disappointed unable to handle the tremendous fears and I was lost in my dream. At that time I was still hoping they would call me for stage 2. Later I came to know first round would be stage 1 and 2.
Subsequently I met someone, homeless on the street in London, right after the Christmas midnight mass at one of my most favourite church, St Paul's Cathedral. My homeless friend was called Anthony whom he encouraged me to sing on the street. Initially I do have tremendous fear singing on the streets of London. Slowly I began to used to singing on the streets. Later I applied xfactor 2013 in the month of January 2013. I got my first round audition for my xfactor 2013 in the month of April 2013 and managed to pull through to the stage 1 and 2 on the same day. Another closed friend of mine, Boris, supported me and I am very grateful to him. By July 2013 I managed got to level 4th where I made a silly mistake. The song I sang at that time was Bridge over the trouble water from duet singer Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. I gave them the wrong backing track but it was a very wonderful experiences I have went though. I do have few musical fans in UK and some of them close to me are from Sunderland, UK.
My dreams still lies deep in my heart and I am planing to have my next xfactor again next year 2019. Anyone interested supporting me on my singing, you can reached me at london.jamesnakason@gmail.com. Here is the lyrics ...
When hope was high and life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving
Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung, no wine untasted
But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hopes apart
As they turn your dreams to shame
And still I dreamed he’d come to me
That we would live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather
I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I’m living
So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed the dream I dreamed
